The team is composed of six virtual pilots and six support personnel. They join together online from their own homes to produce the Thunderbirds demonstration in the virtual skies. The pilots perform the same aerial maneuvers as the real team while support personnel capture their flying and recreate ground elements of the demo, like music and narration. The team broadcasts their demonstrations live on Twitch and YouTube.
The team's mission is to inspire audiences around the world to pursue aviation by replicating the precision and professionalism of the US Air Force Thunderbirds.
Six members are highly experienced virtual pilots who fly the team's routine. Many more personnel support the team on the ground, from narrating to producing livestreams.
From Livonia, MI, Chunky has flown with the team since 2019. He leads the demo and commands the entire squadron. Chunky is pursuing a career as a commercial pilot and attends EMU.
From Seattle, WA, Hornet has flown with the team since 2024. He flies in the diamond as the Left Wing. Hornet enjoys photography and is currently pursuing his pilot's license.
From Madison, WI, Logic has flown with the team since 2020. He flies in the diamond as the Right Wing. Logic enjoys content creation and all things IT.
From Indianola, IA, Vomit has flown with the team since 2020. He flies in the diamond as the Slot Pilot. Vomit enjoys playing drums and guitar, golf, and bowling.
From Latrobe, PA, Lockjaw has flown with the team since 2021. He flies as the Lead Solo Pilot. Lockjaw enjoys working on aircraft and is pursuing his pilot's license.
