Team History

On December 9th of 2007, a team was born. It was founded by Jesse Adams, a hardcore flight sim enthusiasts who was thrilled by the USAF Thunderbirds. Jesse had one goal, and that was to recreate the mission of the USAF Thunderbirds, but on a Flight Simulator that was develope Microsoft. (FSX) The team has been practicing for over 2 years, non-stop via multiplayer during real world time before they performed their first online Air Show at Cleveland, Ohio. in June 2009. After their first Air Show, the FSX Thunderbirds debut began. The FSX Thunderbirds perform in front of more than 2,000 fans online from the years of 2009 to 2010. In the beginning of 2011, the team came across a moment where they could not fly anymore and had to take major time off. Beginning of spring of 2012, the FSX Thunderbirds made a return to the air, with a new commander/leader. The team felt that moving to a new flight simulator will make a better promising, and made the move to Digital Combat Simulator (DCS) changing the name to FS Thunderbirds.
